Services We Provide
Mental Health
Mental illness refers to a range of conditions that affect a person’s thoughts, emotions, behaviour, and overall mental and social well-being. These conditions can disrupt daily functioning, impair relationships, and detrimentally impact quality of life.
24/7 Care
Our 24/7 Care Services are available for adults of all ages, living in Wokingham. Working in teams of two, our carers provide round the clock support and care, either on a permanent or respite basis.
Learning Disabilities
Learning disabilities affect the way individuals process and understand information. These conditions can impede learning in various areas such as reading, writing, mathematics, and reasoning skills, despite normal intelligence and adequate educational opportunities.
Autism & Aspergers
Autism is a complex neurodevelopmental condition, characterised by difficulties in social interaction, communication, and repetitive behaviours, and varies widely in presentation and severity. Our team is highly trained and experienced.

Your Care Specialist
Roopak Sree
CARE SPECIALIST
Hi, I’m Roopak Sree. After spending over 20 years in senior management roles in the IT industry, I made a big change in my life—one that felt not just right, but necessary. Along the way, I also gained experience in the health and social care sector, which opened my eyes to the many unseen struggles families face, especially when caring for loved ones with hidden disabilities like autism, or age-related conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, or Alzheimer’s.
Living in Wokingham and working across the county of Berkshire, I saw first-hand how many families were struggling to find the right kind of support. It became clear to me that there was a real gap—particularly for carers who rarely get a break, yet give so much of themselves every single day. That’s what inspired me to start Care Horizons. I wanted to create a safe, trusted space where families could take that much-needed breather, knowing their loved ones were in good hands.
Now, as the registered manager of Care Horizons, I’m bringing together my background in leadership, my experience working across sectors, and my belief in open, honest communication. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be able to apply my skills in a way that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.
This journey is also deeply personal for me. I understand, firsthand, the emotional and practical challenges of caring for someone with special educational needs (SEN). My mission is to support those families—not only by providing care but also by helping to break the stigma that still exists around disability. Everyone deserves the chance to live with dignity, independence, and the freedom to make their own choices.
At Care Horizons, I’m committed to delivering the highest standards of care and professionalism. Whether it’s supporting someone with autism, a learning disability, or age-related conditions, my focus is always on ensuring that they feel included, respected, and empowered to be part of their local community here in Wokingham and the wider Berkshire area.
Choosing us means choosing a team that truly cares. I take that responsibility seriously, and I’m here to make sure your loved ones receive the kind of compassionate, reliable support you’d hope for—from someone who understands just how important that is.
